The Lynn Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Oct. 10 to amend the township zoning code to allow more than one principal use on the same lot in the Village Center (VC) zoning district.
Solicitor Marc Fisher opened a public hearing on the proposed amendment at 6:41 p.m. and closed it at 6:42 p.m. after one public comment from Jan Suttermyster, who raised a question that Fisher addressed. Vice Chairman Steve I. Feinour moved to adopt the ordinance; Chairman Justin N. Smith seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
The ordinance as recorded in the meeting minutes is identified there as "Ordinance 2019-13" and is described as an amendment to permit more than one principal use on the same lot in the VC zoning district. The minutes also show the agenda item introduced as "Ordinance 2019-03" at the start of the hearing; the record contains this internal inconsistency in numbering.
The board made no other changes to the record at the meeting and did not specify an effective date for the amendment during the Oct. 10 session. The hearing and adoption were conducted during the regular meeting at the Lynn Township Municipal Building, with Marc Fisher presiding over the public-hearing portion and a single public commenter recorded.
