Lynn Township supervisors met Nov. 14 and approved several administrative motions, including a three‑year sanitation contract and a resolution fixing the 2020 tax rate at 0.2 mills.
Supervisor Brian C. Dietrich moved and Supervisor Steve I. Feinour seconded a motion to accept minutes from the Oct. 10 meeting and direct the treasurer to pay the bills; the motion passed unanimously. Supervisors then accepted a three‑year contract with Berger Sanitation contingent upon insertion of language ensuring no penalty for contract termination, a change the board required before final execution.
The board approved Resolution 2019‑17, keeping Lynn Township’s millage at 0.2 mills for 2020. The board also authorized the advertisement of the draft 2020 budget for public inspection ahead of an adoption vote scheduled for Dec. 12, 2019.
Supervisors voted to adopt the 2020 calendar of regular meetings (second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.), approved dates for reorganization meetings and set a budget meeting and other organizational dates. A motion to adjourn carried unanimously at 6:46 p.m.
The meeting packet included year‑end financial figures showing a General Fund balance of $244,358.05, CDs of $1,039,523.27 and consolidated totals for the reporting period: total income $127,322.65, total expenses $35,249.21 and net income $92,073.44.
