Hammond City Commission approves two $10,000 homebound forgivable loans and a $5,250 emergency repair loan

The Hammond City Commission approved two homebound conditional forgivable loans of $10,000 each for homebuyers and an emergency rehabilitation deferred loan of $5,250 to address a collapsed sidewalk and broken sewer pipe.

Staff introduced Courtney Daniels as a recipient of the $10,000 forgivable loan for the purchase at 11-11 Truman and identified the second approved buyer for 7135 Oakdale (recorded in the transcript as Inger Dorovage). "We have Courtney Daniels who is purchasing 11-11 Truman and she will receive $10,000 for the forgivable loan," staff said during the presentation.
