Staff described the elevator contracts as follows: a service priced at $224 per month for the 5233 Homeman Avenue elevator (city staff said the $224 monthly charge would be paid annually in advance) and an annual contract for 5246 Homeman Avenue listed at $775. A motion to approve both annual maintenance arrangements was made and adopted by roll call; the transcript records five yes votes.
Separately, the commission approved the register of claims (claims R68750 through R68806) in a roll-call motion made by Commissioner Tomage and seconded by Commissioner Kabaki; the motion passed with five affirmative votes.
Both actions were procedural approvals taken by majority vote; staff will execute contract paperwork and process claims according to finance procedures.
