Lubbock ISD board approves multiple administrative hires after closed session

Lubbock, Texas — Following an executive session, the Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees approved a slate of administrative hires, the board confirmed on a series of motions taken after the meeting reconvened at 6:31 p.m.

The board voted to hire Amanda Boland as director of federal programs. Trustee Ratcliffe moved the motion and Trustee Chavez seconded; the motion passed by a show of hands (6–0).
