Benton County supervisors voted to approve a slate of EMS trust fund claims Wednesday, authorizing payments to local ambulance providers and first-responders that totaled $45,444.85.
The clerk read the claims into the record: two claims listed to North Benton Ambulance ($4,000 and $4,310.14), a $7,227 claim to Garrison first responders, an additional Northbend ambulance claim (approx. $20,000 recorded in the packet), three claims for Bell Plane (one for $58,040, another for $8,737 and a third for $44,654) and a $3,280 claim listed as from Northbenton. The total printed in the meeting packet was $45,444.85.
A supervisor moved to approve the EMS trust fund claims and a second was recorded; the board then approved the payments by roll call. No public comment on the claims was noted during the meeting.
The board did not attach additional conditions to the payments during the session; further record-keeping and payment processing will be handled through county administrative procedures.
