Commission approves Duckson 11‑acre outdoor storage site with conditions

The Planning Commission approved the Duckson outdoor storage site plan on Frank Martin Road, subject to the remaining staff conditions being satisfied before pre‑construction. Staff said the project met zoning and engineering requirements; outstanding items were a finalized letter of credit and inclusion of the complete electrical sheets in the construction set.

Tom told the commission that city engineering, fire officials and environmental reviewers had examined the plan and were satisfied with responses to prior comments. The fire chief’s review indicated the revised plans addressed earlier concerns, and staff recommended approval with those two procedural items to be resolved prior to pre‑construction.

The commission moved and approved the conditions by roll call. Staff said the letter of credit and the electrical plan incorporation are standard post‑approval items and will be verified at the pre‑construction meeting.
