Shannon Evans sworn in as Modesto City fire chief; mayor throws ceremonial first pitch at opener

Shannon Evans was sworn in as Modesto City's fire chief, the city announced. The presenter said Evans brings more than three decades of firefighting experience to the role and will lead efforts to strengthen local fire services.
