The Crawford County Board of Supervisors on May 26 approved appointments to the Crawford County Area Solid Waste Agency, authorized vendor claims totaling $206,360.46 and set a public hearing on a fiscal 2026 budget amendment for June 23.
Chair Craig Dozark presided over the meeting. The board also approved a wage change for Elliott Koch, Maintenance Employee I in the Engineer’s Office.
The board recognized and approved departmental claims; the aggregate vendor total in the minutes is $206,360.46, with the largest fund share listed to Secondary Road ($142,903.87). Individual vendors and fund totals are recorded in the official claims list filed with the meeting minutes.
Board members discussed low attendance at safety meetings but the transcript records no formal action from that discussion. Supervisor Muhlbauer moved, and Supervisor Heiden seconded, to set a public hearing on a FY2026 budget amendment for 10:00 a.m. on June 23, 2026, in the Board of Supervisors’ Board Room on the second floor of the courthouse; the motion passed unanimously.
The board adjourned at 11:05 a.m. Agendas for the next meeting are posted and available at the courthouse on the Friday before the next meeting.
