Council schedules third readings for fire-tap reimbursement, police pay and cyber security ordinances

Council staff announced that several items are on second reading and will be scheduled for third reading at the next council meeting. Resolution 09-2026 authorizes and directs the building administrator and physical officer to execute a fire tap reimbursement agreement with Carter Lumber; the council was told it will come back for third reading.

Two ordinances were also listed on second reading. Ordinance 2026-10 would update the village of Ashville police pay schedule and declares an emergency; Ordinance 2026-11 would create and adopt the village's cyber security policy. Staff indicated both will be up for third reading at the next meeting.
