Warwick treasurer to leave June 26; village to advertise vacancy and extend deputy's temporary pay

The Village Board acknowledged receipt of a resignation letter from Village Treasurer Sadi Endershack, effective June 26, 2026, and thanked Endershack for her service. The board then authorized advertising for the vacant treasurer position.

Separately, the board approved a temporary $10-per-hour pay increase for Deputy Treasurer Denise Bulz effective April 20, 2026, to cover additional duties through the transition and continuing until a new treasurer is hired. The pay extension was approved by voice vote.

Board members said the deputy's increase is intended to compensate for added responsibilities during the transition and that staff will conduct recruitment according to village hiring procedures. The advertisement for the treasurer position will include application instructions and submission addresses as specified in the village announcements.

The deputy treasurer's pay increase and the recruitment posting take effect immediately.
