The Holt County Board of Supervisors on May 29 approved three zoning applications, acknowledged lists of delinquent and unsold parcels required by state law, accepted a report of county tax sales that could be foreclosed and approved payroll and related claims.
In a single motion the board approved zoning applications for Laursen Ranches, Inc. (David L. Laursen) — a tract in N ½ & S ½ 36-29-11; Harlan M. Schrunk and Sandra J. Schrunk (Schrunk Trust) — a tract in NE ¼ 30-30-13; and Cheryl Riege — a tract in SW ¼ 10-28-10. The motion by Supervisor William Tielke, seconded by Chairman Dustin Breiner, carried with all members present voting aye; the transcript records Treptow as absent.
The board also, on a motion by Supervisor Duane Neiman and seconded by Supervisor William Tielke, acknowledged receipt of the delinquent and unsold parcel list from the County Treasurer as required by Nebraska statute 77-1918. The same meeting included a motion by Chairman Dustin Breiner, seconded by Don Linquist, to acknowledge the report of current county tax sales that may be foreclosed on by the county attorney; that motion passed on recorded ayes.
The board approved direct deposit payroll and related claims on a motion by Chairman Dustin Breiner, seconded by Don Linquist; the minutes list the General Fund payroll total as $246,093.71 and record multiple departmental payroll totals across the published claims list.
The board considered a request from the Central Nebraska Joint Housing Authority for a volunteer to serve on its Board of Commissioners; the minutes record consideration but do not show an appointment or vote on that matter. The meeting adjourned at 11:23 A.M.
