Finance Advisory Committee swears in three members, elects Raflowitz chair and Stevens vice chair

The Finance Advisory Committee for the Town of Loxahatchee Groves on (date not specified) administered oaths to three newly sworn members and formally organized its leadership.

Tracy Raflowitz was nominated and elected chair by unanimous voice vote, and Jennifer Stevens was nominated and elected vice chair, both motions passing 4-0. Committee members Lisa Murray, Samuel Herity and Jennifer Stevens also took their oaths at the start of the meeting.

The committee unanimously approved the evening's agenda at the outset. Members later set their next meeting for June 29 at 6:00 p.m., a time the group said would allow more substantive review of the town's procurement and budget materials prior to the council's July timeline.

The meeting adjourned after those procedural items and several substantive discussions. The chair is scheduled to present the committee's strategic-plan "pillars" recommendations to the town council at the council's workshop on June 16, per staff comment.
