The Douglas County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to exit an executive session and then adjourned, announcing a legislative voting meeting set for June 2 at 10:00 a.m.
The Chair thanked residents for their patience in allowing the board to complete the executive session and asked for a motion to come out of executive session. "Citizens of Douglas County, thank you so much for your patience," the Chair said. A commissioner moved to exit executive session and another commissioner seconded; the board recorded a unanimous 4-0 vote to return to open session.
After asking whether there was any other business, the Chair invited the public to attend the Board's legislative voting meeting "tomorrow at 10:00" in person or online and reiterated the meeting date, saying, "Tomorrow is June 2nd." The Chair then asked for a motion to adjourn. Following a motion and second, the board again voted 4-0 to adjourn.
The meeting was adjourned; the next scheduled event announced by the Chair is the legislative voting meeting on June 2 at 10:00 a.m.
