The Dickinson Township Board of Supervisors on Jan. 5 approved a series of administrative actions: the board adopted Resolution 2026-04 (Application, Review and Inspection Administrative Fees), Resolution 2026-05 (adoption of the Cumberland County Hazard Mitigation Plan) and Resolution 2026-06 (updates to the tax collector fee schedule). Each resolution passed by unanimous vote of the supervisors present.
At the start of the meeting the board approved the agenda and ratified bills of $339,049.34 (Dec. 15, 2025) and $57,182.79 (Dec. 31, 2025); the consent agenda was amended to void a check made payable to Supervisor Robert 'Bob' Line III that Line said he rejected because accepting Planning Commission pay while serving as a supervisor was restricted.
Manager Jill Lovett told the board that FEMA approved the Cumberland County Hazard Mitigation Plan on Nov. 15, 2025, and municipal adoption keeps the township eligible for state and federal mitigation funding. Lovett also said the tax-collector schedule change reflected banking-fee adjustments requested by Tax Collector John Gelinas.
The meeting record shows unanimous approval for the resolutions and for routine contracts and quotes discussed during the session. For transparency, the board’s actions were taken with three supervisors present (Chairman Rob Kole, Vice Chairperson Jennifer DeGaetano and Supervisor Robert Line III); two supervisors were absent.
