Planning board approves Wawa parking reconfiguration to add ADA spaces and increase spaces from 43 to 55

The Old Bridge Planning Board approved a minor site plan May 28 for on‑site adjustments at the Wawa in the township that will reconfigure parking and interior circulation, increasing vehicle stalls from 43 to 55 and adding an ADA‑compliant space.

Mr. Sadilla said the subcommittee recommended the plan after reviewing conditions and memos from the board’s engineers and planners. The changes are limited to restriping, additional low‑lying landscaping and signage for an air pump area; there are no proposed building or site‑improvement enlargements.

Board members voted in favor after the applicant agreed to comply with the planning and engineering memoranda. The approval was contingent on conformity with professional comments, including the board engineer and planner memos.
