The Board of Lincoln County Commissioners voted Jan. 25 to approve a multi-item consent agenda that included a tax agreement for the Lincoln County Building Corporation, an FNRPA agreement with Sublette County and the ratification of a Professional Services Agreement with Public Sector Personnel Consultants Inc. (PSPC).
Commissioner Harmon moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was adopted. Commissioner Harmon moved that the board sign the Tax Agreement to be executed in the Lincoln County Building Corporation’s name; that motion was adopted. Commissioner Hansen moved to approve the FNRPA Agreement with Sublette County for the county’s share of $1,886.67 and to authorize the chairman to sign; that motion was adopted.
The board also ratified a PSPC contract to conduct a classification and compensation study not to exceed $15,000, authorizing the chairman to sign. Separately, Commissioners approved signing a Cooperating Agency Request to the Bureau of Land Management seeking cooperating-agency status under NEPA for Greater Sage-Grouse and sagebrush habitat matters.
In one consent motion the board agreed to pursue funding for retirement benefits for two Lincoln County Search & Rescue units for the next fiscal year, contingent on completion of bylaws and other requirements; that motion was moved by Commissioner Hansen and seconded by Commissioner Harmon and was adopted after discussion of how funds would be handled in the county budget.
