Lindenhurst trustees approve Jan. 10 meeting minutes, release historic executive-session records and authorize $218,026.46 in payments

The Village of Lindenhurst Village Board on Jan. 24 took a set of routine administrative actions: it approved minutes from the Jan. 10, 2022 regular meeting, voted to release select executive-session minutes from 2017, and authorized payment of a second set of January invoices totaling $218,026.46.

Trustee Ron Grace moved to approve the Jan. 10, 2022 regular meeting minutes and several executive-session minutes (Jan. 11, 2021; Apr. 26, 2021; Dec. 13, 2021). The minutes-approval motion passed with Trustees Pat Dunham, Dawn Suchy and Ron Grace voting aye and Trustees Patty Chybowski and Heath Rosten abstaining. Trustee Grace separately moved to release executive-session minutes from April 10, 2017; June 26, 2017; July 10, 2017; and July 20, 2017; that motion carried by the same roll-call pattern.

Trustee Pat Dunham moved, and Trustee Ron Grace seconded, to approve the second set of January bills for payment in the amount of $218,026.46 for invoices due on or before Jan. 24, 2022. The motion passed on a 5-0 roll-call vote of trustees present at that point (Trustee Pat Dickson had not yet voted on the bills earlier in the meeting).

The meeting adjourned at 7:27 p.m. after Trustee Pat Dunham moved to adjourn and Trustee Pat Dickson seconded; the adjournment motion passed on a 6-0 roll-call vote.
