At its May 28 meeting the Bellevue Planning Commission completed routine business and approved several motions by unanimous vote.
The commission approved the April 23, 2026 meeting minutes (motion moved by Commissioner Bennett and seconded by Commissioner Ackley). It also voted to accept into the record all staff reports, attachments, memos and handouts related to agenda applications (motion by Commissioner Yoder, second by Commissioner Lassenberg).
Consent agenda item 2A — the final plat for Ross Anderson Grove Replat One (Case S‑2604‑08), filed by Foundation of Development LLC and involving right‑of‑way acceptance on Tax Lot 18A1B2B — was presented with no updates and approved on the motion record (moved by Commissioner Arnie, second by Commissioner Yoder).
Separately, the commission handled two public hearings (items 3A and 3B). The commission approved a future land‑use map amendment for Horse Creek Farms parcels contingent on county approval of an ETJ boundary amendment, and it approved the Quail Crossing rezoning and preliminary plat for a 165‑unit multifamily development. Both items were recorded as moving forward to City Council for public hearings (placeholders set for July 7, 2026) with the caveat that the Horse Creek item cannot proceed until Sarpy County acts on the ETJ request.
Motions and votes on routine matters were unanimous, and no speakers from the public signed up to testify on the two public hearings during the commission’s session.
Records and next steps: staff will notify applicants when county or council dates are finalized; details about zoning and site plan approvals will be addressed in subsequent city reviews.
