Lower Pottsgrove board votes unanimously to pursue state conservation grant for Pleasantview Master Plan

The Lower Pottsgrove Township Parks and Recreation Board voted 4-0 on Aug. 25 to pursue a Community Conservation Partnerships Program grant to support the Pleasantview Master Plan.

Administrative Assistant Samantha Cronrath reported that Trisha identified the project as potentially eligible. Cronrath told the board the grants can range from $50,000 to $500,000 and that the lower end "should be all we need to finish the project." Board members voted 4-0 in favor of moving forward with the request; the record did not identify a formal mover or seconder in the transcript.

Cronrath said Trisha would file the application on behalf of the township. Board discussion did not include an approved dollar amount to request at the meeting; members asked staff to proceed with the application process and report back with specifics.
