Corcoran council approves consent calendar and Warrant Register; abstention noted on minutes

At its Jan. 27 regular meeting, the Corcoran City Council approved the consent calendar and the Warrant Register.

Councilmember Greg Ojeda moved and Councilmember Patricia "Pat" Nolen seconded approval of the consent calendar; the motion carried with AYES: Nolen, Ojeda and Robertson and two members absent. The minutes record notes that Nolen abstained from the minutes item. Later, following council discussion, Nolen moved and Ojeda seconded approval of the Warrant Register dated Jan. 27, 2026; that motion carried with the same recorded aye votes and two absences.

Consent calendar items listed included approval of prior minutes (with the abstention), authorization to read ordinances and resolutions by title only, proclamations recognizing Chamber of Commerce honorees, and rejection of a claim by Kelly Hernandez.
