Board approves three late special‑permission requests for school camps

At the start of the May 28 special meeting, Dr. Weeks told trustees the district had received three late special‑permission requests—involving East Robertson High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp, a wrestling camp and a girls basketball camp—and staff recommended approval after reviewing agendas and logistics.

Board member Demetriem White moved to approve the requests; Chair announced the motion was seconded by Connie Hogan, and the board approved the requests by voice vote, 4–0. No further conditions or changes to the requests were recorded in the minutes and staff said the approved permissions would be distributed to the appropriate school leaders.
