Commissioners approve ARPA-funded sewer change order and multiple progress payments for Ames and Harden projects

At its May 26 meeting Liberty County's commissioners approved a change order and several progress payments tied to ARPA-funded sanitary-sewer improvements for Ames and Harden.

County staff presented Change Order No. 4 for CA Construction LLC in the amount of $131,689 for the ARPA sewer improvements for the city of Ames; the court approved the change order, with staff noting required backups were attached to the packet.

The court also approved progress payment No. 8 to CNA Construction LLC for $61,236.85 and additional progress payments and estimate payments listed in the meeting packet (including CANA Construction and King Solutions LLC for Harden sanitary sewer rehabilitation). Staff repeatedly confirmed these were ARPA-funded projects during the motions.

Each payment and the change order were approved by voice motion and second; staff will continue to process contractor invoices and maintain documentation in the project files.
