JCC reviews Sempervirens quality and safety reports; most categories show no new updates

The Joint Conference Committee for Sempervirens reviewed routine quality, safety and monitoring reports for the Sempervirens behavioral health program at its April 23, 2026 meeting.

According to the minutes, reports were submitted and reviewed by Deputy Director Paul Bugnacki. The Executive Summary and specific plans discussed included the Infection Prevention and Control Plan (noted as having no new updates since the last meeting), the Emergence Action Plan (no new updates), the Utilization Review Plan for fiscal year 2025-26, and the SV workplan (no new updates).

Committee members reviewed a range of monitoring reports including seclusion and restraints, infection control, medical records, quality improvement tracking forms, SV documentation monitoring, incident and unusual occurrence reports, the SV Indicator Dashboard, utilization review and aftercare reporting, medical care evaluations, dietary monitoring, pharmacy and therapeutics (inpatient medication monitoring), medication reconciliation, patient satisfaction survey results, and patient rights advocate monitoring. Several items were explicitly recorded as having "no new updates since last meeting."

No public attendees provided comment during the open comment periods. The committee recorded the absence of two staff members and proceeded with the agenda; the meeting adjourned at 3:52 p.m.
