Mills River advisory board elects leadership, adopts schedule and minutes

At its annual organization meeting the Mills River Agricultural Advisory Board completed routine organizational business: members nominated and elected Bert Lincus as chair and approved a vice chair (voice votes); the board adopted its regular meeting schedule (third Friday at 9 a.m.) and approved minutes from the Oct. 17 meeting.

The board also moved to have the town’s first ordinance displayed in the meeting room (a procedural motion the board supported), and appointed Wayne (name appears in the record alternately as "Carlin" and "Carland") to continue representing the advisory committee on the Mills River Partnership Board. Members thanked staff for early communications on schedules and cancellations.

With limited time remaining the board adjourned after completing new- and old-business items. The board will reconvene to review the consolidated UDO draft and scheduled public outreach in March.
