Finance staff reported that approximately $38,000,000 of the requested amendments are operating items, including roughly $11.5 million for public safety overtime and $8.6 million for personnel and operating costs in the Henrico County Public School budget. Staff also noted a request of about $5,000,000 to true up hotel/motel tax collections and a $7,400,000 request for the Children's Services Act program. On the capital side, the total request was about $17,400,000, which includes nearly $15,000,000 in federal Safe Streets and Roads for All grant funds for intersection technology and $1,400,000 to replace Fire Engine 310.
