Cedar County Board approves routine agenda items, permit renewals and utility permits

The Cedar County Board of Supervisors completed routine business May 19 with a series of unanimous votes on procedural and permitting matters.

Motions approved included: adopting the meeting agenda; approving the May 12, 2026 minutes; approving payroll disbursements #205248–205390 for the pay period ending May 9, 2026; renewing tobacco permits for Pilot Travel Center #496 and Liberty Travel Stop effective July 1, 2026; approving utility permits for Black Hills Energy at 277 Indian Ave and for Alliant Energy at 174 145th St and on X40 at Little Bear (each permit subject to the $100 fee); and adjourning the meeting to May 26, 2026.
