Manila resident urges action on overgrown corner at Pearl and Cross Creek

During public comment, a resident from Manila told commissioners the corner at Pearl and Cross Creek is hazardous because vegetation and bushes on private property block sight lines and are covering a stop sign at a bus stop.

The resident said there have been near-misses at the corner and asked for help. Staff responded that the bushes appear to be on private property; county staff advised the resident to contact Michael and file a formal complaint so code/UDO processes can begin and county staff can follow up.

The resident thanked commissioners and staff for listening; staff committed to providing the formal complaint form and following the matter through the appropriate enforcement or removal process.
