The department recommended acceptance of Titan Machinery’s Case 821G; Resolution 2026-0071 authorizes the purchase and directs the Chair to sign contract and warranty documents.
Pickup trucks: For replacement of units #2, #11 and #108 the department solicited quotes from Karl Chevrolet, Ram, and Stivers Ford. The packet includes detailed dealer quotes; staff recommended Karl Chevrolet’s three-vehicle package (three Chevy Silverados) at a combined price listed in the bid materials (Karl Chevrolet totals presented in packet). Resolution 2026-0072 authorizes the purchase and execution of purchase agreements and warranties.
Procurement notes: Secondary Roads staff documented comparison quotes and recommended the lowest responsive bidders that met specifications. The meeting packet includes vendor quotes and Sourcewell/contract pricing sheets for heavy equipment.
Next steps: Purchasing staff will finalize purchase agreements and schedule vehicle delivery; equipment will enter service as Secondary Roads replaces aged units.
