Cannabis Advisory Committee meeting closed for lack of quorum; next session set for June 18

The Cannabis Advisory Committee did not conduct business at its scheduled monthly meeting on Tuesday after the chair announced the committee lacked a quorum and would close the session.

“Right now, there's only myself and Mr. Plandowski,” the chair said, noting that another member, Miss Tina Lena, attempted to join remotely but was unsuccessful. The chair added that even if that member had appeared, the committee still would not have met the quorum requirement to proceed.

The chair announced, “we are going to consider this meeting closed and we will be reconvening back next month in June.” A committee member confirmed the next meeting date as June 18 at 1:00 p.m.

The chair and the committee member said the June 18 meeting will be held by Zoom and that the notice will be posted through the town clerk's office. No motions were made and no votes were taken because the committee did not have sufficient members present.

The chair closed the call with brief farewells to attendees.
