The Goochland County Design Review Committee opened its May 29 meeting by confirming a quorum, conducting nominations for committee officers and handling routine procedural business.
Mrs. Parker opened the floor for nominations; Mrs. Armstrong was nominated for chair and Mr. Costello was nominated for vice chair and both nominations received seconds. The committee then reviewed a scrivener’s error in the DRC bylaws (remote participation policy 4.1.1) and approved a redline correction after staff presented the amendment. Members also confirmed they had read and approved the minutes of the prior meeting.
The procedural matters preceded the scheduled review of Certificate of Approval application COA 20261 for a bank at 1650 Wilks Ridge Parkway. With no further business, the committee later discussed site fencing issues before adjourning.
