The board also approved by roll call a resolution setting the filing period for affidavits of candidacy for school board at July 14–28, 2026 (closing at 5:00 p.m. on July 28); the general election was noted as Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, with three four‑year seats to be elected. Roll call votes for this resolution were recorded as "Yes" from Manakey, Frenzel, Long Wolkner, Wall and Haugen.
Lexi Wild presented the annual MSBA 506R Code of Conduct for its first reading; the board approved the first reading by voice vote after noting minor wording edits and the addition of a line on physical conduct.
No dissenting votes were recorded during roll calls shown in the meeting transcript.
