Park County awards $196,940 contract to replace failing Lane Five culvert

Brian Edwards, Park County’s county engineer, told commissioners the failing culvert on Lane Five requires replacement and presented the procurement results after bids were advertised locally and on national plan rooms. “The apparent low bidder is CK Civil here out of Cody for $196,940,” Edwards said, noting staff corrected clerical math errors in competing bids before making a recommendation.

The county engineer said the contractor is local to Park County and holds required documentation; final contract signing and any required preconstruction submittals will follow typical procurement procedures.
