Council hearing set after planning board denies EAB amendment; data‑center subcommittee posts public web page

A council member told the Environmental Advisory Board that the Camp Branch Lane rezoning applicant returned revised conditions — accepting 11 of 12 environmental conditions and limiting the proposal to 50 units with a single point of access — but that the planning board voted to deny the related advisory‑board amendment (reported as 8–1). The council member said the planning board's recommendation of denial will be forwarded and that a public hearing is scheduled at the town council meeting next Thursday.

Board members discussed planning‑board concerns that the advisory board should limit its review to environmental conditions rather than evaluating an entire rezoning request.
