The board also awarded R2026-057 (Malta Road District aggregate FOB project to Wagner Aggregate Inc.) and R2026-063 (purchase of a 2026 Nissan through cooperative agreement), among others. Each item was put to a roll-call vote and carried.
Staff summarized that the county has pursued cooperative purchasing and intergovernmental agreements to secure favorable pricing for vehicles and infrastructure materials; several presenters noted prior grants and bridge/highway improvements in related remarks.
The board also approved R2026-062 approving county claims for May 2026, which the clerk read as totaling $7,660,267, and accepted various departmental reports for April 2026.
