Lincolnwood issues EMS and Public Works week proclamations, honors students and lists community events

At the May 19 meeting President Jaisal Patel issued proclamations recognizing Emergency Medical Services Week and Public Works Week in Lincolnwood and highlighted community winners and upcoming events.

Proclamations and recognitions: Patel read a proclamation recognizing Emergency Medical Services Week and noted public safety providers’ 24/7 role; he also proclaimed Public Works Week to recognize the village’s public works professionals. Community honors and events: Patel invited the vehicle‑sticker contest winner, Aram Hassan, and family to the podium to accept recognition for artwork chosen for the year’s sticker (theme: diversity). The village also congratulated Lincolnwood resident Jaden Conley for state‑level success in Poetry Out Loud and third place at the national level. Patel announced a Niles Township fundraising fun run on June 6 at Old Orchard Junior High to support the township food pantry and promoted a village parks Eid al‑Adha celebration scheduled for May 30 (advanced registration required).
