At 9:00 a.m. the Board convened as Ditch Authority and approved the March 17 County Ditch 20 agenda. On motions by commissioners the Board set a public hearing on the final engineer’s report for petitioned improvements to County Ditch 20 for 10:00 a.m. on April 21, 2026.
After reconvening the regular meeting at 9:03 a.m., the Board approved the Auditor-Treasurer consent items, which included a cash balance report, investment summary, budget reports and February 2026 disbursements totaling $2,057,997.93. The disbursements figure was recorded in the minutes and approved on motion by Theis, second by Van Hee.
The minutes record the Ditch Authority action as setting the public hearing date and the Auditor-Treasurer action as approval of routine financial reports and disbursements. The record does not include minutes of testimony for the ditch petition; the engineer's final report will be the subject of the April 21 hearing.
