Planning board approves ADU at 24 Nadine Road

Romulo Salazar presented a site plan to the Planning Board on April 7 for an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) incorporated into an existing attached double garage at 24 Nadine Road. "We're building an ADU on a attached garage... consisting of one bedroom, a kitchenette and living room and bathroom," Salazar said.

The board confirmed the lot is in the R1C zoning district and staff noted that building and fire comments had been addressed through revised plans. No members of the public spoke during the public‑comment period. A motion to approve with standard conditions was moved and seconded; the roll‑call vote was unanimous in favor (Marty, Matthew, Yolanda, James, Chair Tony Gonzalez voted yes).

The approval was recorded as a site‑plan decision with standard conditions; any building permits or licensing requirements will be handled during the permitting phase.
