Bernalillo County legislator opens Los Vecinos Community Center in East Mountain

A Bernalillo County legislator opened the Los Vecinos Community Center in the East Mountain community and led a ribbon-cutting celebration, saying the project had been "on the shelf collecting dust" when they took office and now offers a new park and community space.

The speaker said the project moved from a stalled proposal to "a tangible result" in less than four years, crediting county staff and community support for making the center possible.
