Finance committee approves routine bills, travel and quarterly reports

The LaSalle County Finance & TIF Committee handled routine business on March 10, approving the prior meeting minutes and the month's bills. The committee also placed Julie's TIF collections report and Stephanie's quarterly report on file.

Stephanie reported four funds currently in the red (including crime victim/witness coordinator and E911) and said auditors had completed fieldwork and are working on their reports. The committee circulated and signed the quarterly report.

Davis requested out-of-state travel to a CIC symposium Aug. 18–20 in Mulvane, Kansas, where the county's new ERP (enterprise resource planning) finance solution will be rolled out and demonstrated. The committee approved the travel; Davis estimated airfare and hotel would likely total around $1,000. Members discussed coordinating travel and potential shared carpooling to the airport.

Other routine motions — approving Stephanie's monthly bills and adjourning the meeting — were recorded as carried.
