At its May 14 meeting the Moraine City Council approved two ordinances amending the personnel policy manual and adopted two resolutions, including one repealing a previously adopted pavement-contract authorization.
Council held second readings and approved Ordinance 2232-26 (amending section 6.3 of the Moraine personnel policy manual) and Ordinance 2233-26 (amending section 6.16). Both ordinances were approved on roll-call votes with all members recorded as voting yes.
The council also adopted Resolution 8236-26, which declares the items listed on the city's 2026 inventory to be surplus and authorizes the city manager to dispose of such items by GovDeals auction, donation to a nonprofit or trade-in, and it approved Resolution 8237-26 to repeal resolution 8164-25 (adopted June 26, 2025). The law director told the council the 2025 resolution had authorized a contract with Buck Pavement Restoration LLC for a crack-sealing program but that the city received written confirmation the company is no longer in business; the repeal was intended to "clean up the paper trail" and accurately reflect the city's records.
A motion earlier in the meeting to add the repeal resolution to the agenda passed on roll call. All four legislative items were recorded as passing by unanimous roll-call votes. The council adjourned at 6:22 p.m.
