Lake Forest approves seven omnibus items including technology purchases and vehicle replacements

Lake Forest — The City Council approved seven omnibus agenda items on March 2, 2026, in a single roll‑call vote.

The omnibus package included approval of the Feb. 17 council minutes and the check register for Jan. 24–Feb. 20; a purchase of replacement computers for city departments not to exceed $78,911; purchase of the Verca access control system for the municipal services building from Modern Media Technologies in the amount of $113,300; approval to buy two replacement police department CSO vehicles from Kaiser Ford Lincoln for $70,750; authorization for the city manager to contract with Sundance Lawn Care for citywide grounds maintenance services in FY2027 not to exceed $214,900; and the award of the Griffith Woodland Storm Sewer Improvement Project to Manaval Construction (low bid $372,150 with a 10% contingency of $37,215; the agenda packet listed a total project cost of $493,365).

Council approved the omnibus motion by roll call, recorded as eight yays and zero nays, and the clerk confirmed the roll‑call responses during the vote. No items were removed from the omnibus for separate discussion.
