Nick Branner presented an interlocal agreement enabling Boone County to perform programmed road preservation treatments (microsurfacing, rejuvenation) and be reimbursed by the City of Lebanon for work within Lebanon jurisdiction.
Branner noted typographical errors in Exhibit A: references to "State Route 39" should read "State Route 32" and a listing of "S U S 52" should read "US 52." He asked that the motion include those corrections; councilmembers agreed and the motion was amended accordingly.
Branner said the city would pay 100% of its costs where the county performs work in the city's jurisdiction, and the projects referenced were already programmed in the county's 2026 road program. Council approved the amended interlocal agreement.
Nut graf: The agreement formalizes cost-reimbursement for mutually beneficial road work and clarifies corrections to project exhibits before execution.
Questions focused on cost-share (confirmed as 100% for city-jurisdiction work) and verification of exhibit language. The council adopted the motion with the corrections.
