Votes at a glance: Des Moines ISD board approves agenda, monitoring report, security upgrades, personnel action and Unbound Ed contract

The Des Moines Independent Comm School District board took a series of unanimous votes during its April 2 meeting. Highlights:

- Personnel action: The board accepted the superintendent's recommendation to terminate a contract effective immediately; motion approved 6–0.

- Unbound Ed contract (pulled consent E6): After questions about scope and funding, the board approved Unbound Ed as the provider for GLEAM professional learning (vote 6–0); staff will deliver a scope and funding breakdown to the board.
