Board approves consent agenda; donors and a staff resignation noted

The Jefferson School District board approved its consent agenda without separation. A motion to approve the consent agenda was moved and seconded; the board adopted it by voice vote.

During the consent discussion a board member thanked Miss Harden for seven years of service to the district; the resignation was recorded as part of the consent agenda. The board also reported community donations accepted under the consent agenda: Redline Barbecue contributed in-kind and food/support totaling $1,112 for SkillsUSA; Tomaha Manufacturing donated $1,000 (SkillsUSA recipient); Rudy Cormo donated $2,500 to the high-school baseball program. The board reported $4,726 in donations for the month and reported approximately $146,500 in year-to-date community contributions as presented on the consent report.
