Commission approves Bridal Park Apartments monument sign setback variance, staff conditions apply

The commission approved a request to reduce monument sign setbacks at the Bridal Park Apartments development on May 14. Staff told the commission the requested reduced setback was minor, the sign complies with size and lighting code requirements, and the variance aligned with a recently approved nearby sign (Verena). The applicant, Patrick Doherty, confirmed he accepted the staff conditions. The commission voted 7–0 to approve the variance with two staff conditions related to location and illumination.

Staff will ensure the sign is installed at the approved measurements and that permits are obtained before installation.
