Royal Palm Beach grants 90‑day extension on expired pool permit

The special magistrate issued a finding of fact in a case involving an expired permit for an in‑ground pool at a residence on Chorus Way. The code inspector testified that the permit had been extended for 90 days; the respondent confirmed the extension and the magistrate granted a finding of fact, noting the extension and advising the owner to call for inspection before the extension expires.

The village entered exhibits including the notice of violation, verification of ownership and the affidavit of compliance. The magistrate explained that a finding of fact indicates the respondent was in violation at the time required by the order but has since come into compliance.

The magistrate urged the property owner to proactively schedule the required inspection to close the permit and avoid future violations or fines.
