Trophy Club council re‑elects Ryland Roe as mayor pro tem; goes into executive session on property

At the May 13 meeting the Trophy Club Town Council followed charter procedures to elect one of its members as mayor pro tem. Councilmember Ryland Roe was nominated, the nomination was seconded and Roe was elected by a show of hands.

Later in the meeting the council recessed into executive session under Texas Government Code section 551.072 to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property "generally located near the intersection of Trophy Cove Drive and Trophy Lakes," as announced by staff. The meeting reconvened at 9:16 p.m.; council reported no action was taken following the executive session.

The executive-session notice did not include parcel identifiers or proposed transaction terms during the public portion of the meeting; staff and council indicated the discussion would remain in executive session under the code section cited.
