City clerk announces vote-by-mail, ballot drop box and mobile vote center dates

Student City Clerk Alicia told the Lawndale student council on May 12 that the vote-by-mail ballot mailing period began May 12 and reminded residents that Monday, May 25 is the last day to register to vote.

"As of today, May 12th, the vote by mail ballot mailing period began," Alicia said, and she said the city operates a 24-hour secure ballot drop box at Hogan Park (1665 Osage Avenue) that will be available through 8:00 p.m. on election day, Tuesday, June 2.

Alicia also announced a one-day mobile vote center on Wednesday, May 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the courtyard in front of city hall at 14717 Burren Avenue for in-person voting, and she provided the city clerk office phone for additional information.
