Board accepts harassment findings and approves routine resolutions with recusals

During the May 7 meeting the Secaucus School District board approved a motion to accept harassment and bullying findings as presented by the interim superintendent and later approved grouped resolutions R1.01 through R4.09, with several members recording recusals or abstentions on specified items.

A motion to accept the harassment and bullying findings was moved, seconded and approved by roll call; members answering the roll recorded affirmative votes. The board then considered a block of resolutions (R1.01–R4.09). During the roll call on the grouped resolutions, Mr. Bartletta recused himself from R1.05; Miss Eckles abstained from R1.01 through R1.04 and voted yes on the remaining items; Miss Howard recused from R1.01, R1.03, R1.04 and R1.05; other members recorded yes votes.
